The purpose of the student council is to give students an opportunity to develop leadership by organizing and carrying out various activities and service projects. In addition to planning events that contribute to overall institute's spirit and community welfare, the student council is the voice of the student body.
We at Shri. Shambubhai V. Patel college support and encourage activities of student council. We allow students to select their representatives in order to make them understand the values of their rights, also it helps them to form a connect with the decision making committee

Industrial visit aims to enhance and instil practical experience in the students by making them aware about the working of different industries in different markets.
Industrial visit plays an important role in curriculum of our college. Every year our college organise an industrial visit for all the students as per the requirement of their subjects. In our institution we plan and have industrial visit to both organised and unorganised sector so that students can understand and get expose to various types of businesses and industries.
Students are taken for industrial visit in and around Surat where they interact with the company’s people and have practical experience of how corporate actually works.
The main purpose behind industrial visit is to accustom students to the working of different types of industries and businesses so that they get ready to face the challenges of real world which they will face in future.

Shri. Shambubhai V. Patel College of CS and BM has constituted women empowerment cell to empower and safeguard the rights of female students of the college. This cell works to promote gender equality and handle grievances related to women harassment. It is also persistent in conducting diverse programs to educate and sensitize female students regarding their health, hygiene and safety.
This cell truly prepares female students to become competent professionals while being aware about their sound health and security. This creates a harmonious atmosphere in the institute.
